Founder, Boston & Northeast

Astrid Burns

Astrid leads the firm's presence across the Northeast from her home in Greater Boston. Her institutional ties and collector network, built over decades and informed by her family's 45-year history in art storage across Boston, Miami, and New York, keep her closely involved with the region's leading galleries, museums and nonprofit organizations.

With almost two decades in the art advisory field, Astrid worked with several regional firms before founding her own advisory in 2025. She has experience guiding private collections, corporate spaces, and hospitality projects. Her approach is underscored by the belief that the right artwork transforms not only a space, but one's lived experience.

A graduate of Brown University with Honors in Art Semiotics and Studio Art, Astrid grounds her work in critical theory and artistic practice, sharpened further by studies at La Fémis film school in Paris.

Art Advisor, Miami & South Florida

Manuela Uribe

Based in Miami, Manuela oversees the firm's South Florida operations and continues to expand its network across the region. Having lived in eight cities across Mexico, Chile, Panama, Colombia, and the United States, she brings a distinctly cross-cultural lens to evaluating artworks and building collections, with a lasting commitment to artists and galleries in the U.S. and abroad.

Manuela has a background in Postmodern and Contemporary Latin American Art and holds a BA in Art History from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). Her career in art advising began at a Bogotá-based firm, where she learned to bridge scholarly theory with the practical demands of the industry. After serving as catalog editor at a leading Colombian gallery, she relocated to Boston and joined an art advisory firm, where she first crossed paths with Astrid. Several years of close collaboration later, she joined Astrid's firm as Art Advisor.
